Birdie Gadget

We needed to replenish Bernini's food and treat supply today, so off to Bird Lover's Outlet we went. In addition to some dried fruit, parrot food and whole walnuts (yum!), we got a gadget:


Birds are attracted to moving water, and since we don't have a pond or electricity anywhere near the watering station, I needed to find something completely self-contained. This little baby looked like it would do the trick. I set it up, cleaned out the birdbath/terra cotta saucer, and wha-la! Moving water for our bird guests.


30 minutes after I set it up, a robin stopped by for a drink. Score!
