I found this little wonder at Restoration Hardware, just before the holidays. Twelve dollars for a magnifying glass and frog clips to hold your specimen.
Of course this is how I'm using it for the time being:
Whatever works, right? And it cost less than the $20 model I saw at the art supply store, so it's a win all around.
