Falco peregrinus: Peregrine Falcon
Baby birds are so ugly they go beyond ugly to shockingly cute... sort of. It's a look you kind of have to get used to, because they can look pretty odd.
Baby birds of prey (all birds?) sit on their ankles until they get strong enough to stand. Give this bird enough time and it will be able to kill with its talons.
