"Birds will give you a window, if you allow them. They will show you secrets from another world - fresh vision that, though it is avian, can accompany you home and alter your life. They will do this for you even if you don't know their names - though such knowing is a thoughtful gesture. They will do this for you if you watch them." ~ Lyanda Lynn Haupt, Rare Encounters with Ordinary Birds

Sula nebouxii: Blue-footed Booby
AKA, the Blue-footed Booby, a seabird common to the Galapagos Islands.
Apparently, boobies have been known to stab other boobies with their beaks if one comes a little too close to another's territory. Bummer.
What this means is that they have to make, um, overtures, when one wants to share another's space. So when the male is ready to... you know... he does a little dance for the female. Here's a taste, filmed by youtube user plumdiggity... too funny.
Dude, better luck next time.
